Recommended P & E for your home

For General Cleaning Only (Regular/One Time)

A Deep Clean will require a more comprehensive list of Products which will already be supplied by your cleaner when you book this type of service. Having the correct P & E will ensure you get optimum results out of the service your cleaner provides you.

If you don’t have all of the below P & E the cleaner will do the best they can with what is provided to them. If you have booked a General Clean and require your cleaner to bring the Products this can be arranged for a small additional cost.

• Bathroom cleaner
• Toilet cleaner (gel)
• Multi purpose cleaner
• Glass cleaner
• Microfibre cloths (at least 4)
• Paper towels
• All purpose polyester wipes
• Non scratch kitchen sponges (~120mm x 80 mm)
• Bathroom sponge scourers (~150mm x 100 mm)
• Toilet scrubbing brush

Tips

Vacuum cleaner: A corded vacuum cleaner with good suction power is recommended. A cordless vacuum cleaner may not hold enough charge to complete the vacuuming required for your home. The vacuum cleaner should have clean filters and clean head attachments in order for it function properly. A vacuum cleaner with poor suction will not produce the desired level of clean floors.

Mop Head: We don’t recommend sponge head, flat head or synthetic strip mop heads . The best type is still the traditional cotton string mop head which has been around since the 1400s. This type has more scrubbing power and is highly absorbent. Sabco brand is recommended.

Mop Handle: A Sabco aluminium mop handle is recommended. View Photo Mop Bucket: We don’t recommend spin mop buckets. The best type is a wringer mop bucket which utilises a foot pedal and rollers to squeeze the mop head.
